Biography

Aimee Gibson is a Georgetown University ITL trained Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and former consulting executive with over 20 years of experience. She is sought after as a talented executive coach, consultant, facilitator, and speaker. Aimee has worked in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors representing a wide range of industries. She works internationally and for small and large local and geographically dispersed companies.

 

When coaching, Aimee skillfully administers the Leadership Circle Profile (LCP©) 360 as a basis for individual and team learning and growth while drawing on her knowledge of adult development theory. She draws too, on mindfulness practices she studied at The Center for Mind-Body Medicine and essential practices and tools designed to increase organizational equity and inclusion as studied at the University of South Florida, Muma College of Business.

 

As an Adjunct faculty member at both Georgetown University and American University, Aimee honed her ability to deliver learning and coaching that focuses on developing the capacity within individuals, teams, and organizations to build greater awareness, increase effectiveness, and deliver results.

 

In her consulting practice, Aimee deftly incorporates her organizational change management experience, inclusion best practices, and assessments to create brave spaces for change. Tools she utilizes include the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) assessment as a Qualified Administrator, stakeholder interviews, identity exercises, focus groups, gaming, and small/large group discussions.

 

As an active member of HRAM of the Midlands’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee member, Aimee supports the committee in evoke curiosity through learning, breaking barriers, and sharing diverse perspectives to change lives in the workplace and beyond. She won the 2024 Volunteer of the Year award for her contributions.

 

Aimee grounds her life and work in values of integrity, learning and growth, inclusivity, well-being, and collaboration. After several decades of experience in the coaching and consulting space, Aimee has synthesized the most effective techniques and approaches to offer world class coaching services to leaders, employees, and teams at all levels.
